You get a payment whenever you reach like $50 or something.
The downside to this is that they've stopped giving away the $250 prize for monthlys.
It Newgrounds Revenue Sharing.
Basically you now get a cut of the ad revenue... The more ad hit's you get on your userpage the more money for you.
The more ad hits your movies and games get... More money for you!

You can get money from User Page Ads.
You can implant an Ad in your Flash Game/Video to make some more money, and you also get money from ads on the submission's portal page.
